A Note from the Pastor:

If you are searching for a church that will open its arms to you, engage you in thoughtful Christian growth, nurture you in your faith, equip you for service, and encourages you to think for yourself, then BGCUMC is for you.  We are committed to Jesus the Christ as Lord and Savior and seek to serve him in the best way that we can.

To describe our congregation in a word I would use "caring."  This is a community of faith that welcomes and sustains friendship in our midst.  I invite you to worship with us on Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m.  While one focus is on the immediate community of faith, another focus is reaching out to the community in need.  We do this by donating time and gifts to the YWCA Women's Shelter, Clark County Food Bank, and Orchards Homeless Shelter, to name a few of our missions.

At BGCUMC we value Christian Education.  Each Sunday, children kindergarten through fifth grade spend a portion of the morning in worship and then are dismissed to Children's Church, or are invited to remain with the adults for worship.  On Wednesday evenings from the middle of September through May we share a light meal and offer Christian education for all ages.  Sunday mornings at 10 a.m. (September through May) we offer adult education.
